Morning Support Staff Needed for Young Man with Autism
Part-Time | Weekdays 7:30 AM9:30 AM
Are you a morning person whos energetic, kind, and looking for a meaningful part-time job?
We are seeking a reliable, patient, and engaging individual to support a young man with autism in the mornings. He uses an iPad to communicate. This role involves helping him get ready for his day and driving him to his day program.
Schedule:
MondayFriday, 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM (2 hours/day)
Follows a school-year calendar with some flexibility.
Year-round work is possible if preferred, and additional hours may be available.
Job Overview:
Youll help a bright and music-loving young man start his day by supporting his morning routine at home and driving him to his nearby day program. He benefits from a structured, supportive approach, and thrives with positive, interactive staff who understand his needs.
What Youll Be Doing:
Assist with his morning routine and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
Implement a positive behavior support plan
Provide transportation to his day program
Build a consistent, positive connection
Who Were Looking For Someone:
With a relevant bachelors degree or certification (ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, RBT, NADD, etc.)
Experience with autism and developmental disabilities
Strong understanding of ABA and Positive Behavioral Support (PBS)
Patient, engaging, and dependable
Clean driving record required
Willing to drive the client to his day program.
Able to pass background and drug checks
