HELIOS is seeking a highly experienced Junior Logistician to join our dedicated team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital research and development, testing, evaluation, engineering, and fleet support activities for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex logistics projects within NSWCPD Code 60, which oversees the Compatibility Test Facility, ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative solutions that bolster national defense.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with developing, implementing, and managing logistics plans for complex naval projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support testing, evaluation, and engineering activities for naval platforms and systems.
- Assist with inventory management, procurement, transportation, and distribution of equipment and supplies related to naval research and development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Support the preparation of logistics documentation, reports, and presentations for management and client review.
This is position is contingent on contract award. Veterans receive hiring preference.
Requirements:
The following are the minimum requirements for this position:
- Possess a current, active SECRET Clearance
- Experience working with and handling U-NNPI Information.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Shall have Associate level degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering field, or related field of study from an accredited College or University.
- May substitute degree requirements with equivalent validation/certification gained through service in the US Military in the as Enlisted (E1 or above) logistics support billets or Navy Enlisted Classification Codes (NECs).
- Two (2) years of experience as a logistician supporting supply programs or projects.
- Possess a working knowledge of the Naval Sea System Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and/or Fleet organizations
