Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Post Closing Coordinator to join our title company team located in Lutherville, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Review signed loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Obtain funding authorization from lenders.
- Handle disbursements such as mortgage payoffs, HOA and judgment lien payoffs, taxes, water bill payments, etc.
- Verify recording fees for accuracy.
- Prepare recording packages to be submitted either via Simplifile and via hand recording (to a third party recorder).
- Payment of water, taxes, etc. through various county websites.
- Efficiently resolve recording rejection matters.
- Preparation of owner's and lender's title insurance policies.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Post Closing Coordinator or similar role within the title industry.
- Strong understanding of ALTA Best Practices and underwriting procedures.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Qualia a plus, but not a requirement.
- Individual must be a licensed title insurance producer with the Maryland Insurance Administration or be willing to obtain said license at the company's expense.
- Individual should have a Notary Public appointment for the State of Maryland or be willing to obtain said appointment at the company's expense.
