Support a dynamic preschool classroom as a paraprofessional in a rewarding part-time role based in Hollis, NH. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with preschool students in both intensive needs and general education settings, providing essential behavioral and educational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in a preschool classroom, supporting students with special education needs and general education peers
- Apply ABA principles or related behavioral methods to support student learning and development
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive, flexible classroom environment
- Support students behavioral and educational goals through individualized assistance
- Adapt to classroom changes and restructuring as needed to meet student needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Must have ABA training or practical experience with ABA techniques
- Prior behavioral-based experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional is essential
- Comfortable working with students with special education needs (SPED population)
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance
- Ability to pass required district fingerprinting and onboarding procedures
- Completion of at least one professional reference before candidate submission
- Flexibility and adaptability to classroom reassignments
- Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
Schedule and Location:
- Part-time, Monday through Thursday, 26 hours per week
- Work hours are from 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM
- Position located at a primary school in Hollis, NH
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract end date: June 17, 2026
