Support a students learning and daily activities as a dedicated paraprofessional providing essential 1:1 or 2:1 care in an educational setting. Position Details:
- Location: Aurora, CO
- Contract through May 29, 2026
- 15 hours per week (3 hours per day)
- Daily schedule split into two 90-minute sessions: mornings between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM, afternoons between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM
- Caseload involves either 1:1 or 2:1 bus aide responsibilities
Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a paraprofessional or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
- Comfort providing hands-on support to students requiring individualized attention
- Ability to manage a 1:1 or 2:1 care environment safely and effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with school staff and report student progress
Responsibilities:
- Assist students with mobility, communication, and safety on the bus and during classroom activities
- Provide personalized support tailored to each students needs in both one-on-one and small group settings
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning experience by fostering student engagement and independence
- Follow protocols and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and transportation staff to ensure consistency and quality care
