Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving K-12 students across two school sites. This contract role involves working primarily with middle and high school students within a caseload of approximately 40 students.
Location: Orono, ME
Setting: K-12 School
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a focus on middle and high school levels
- Manage an itinerant schedule between two school sites
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably grades 6-12
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
