Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5 years of recruiting and talent acquisition experience
Experience recruiting for multiple roles across various teams and locations.
Working knowledge of an applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media platforms.
Experience with college recruiting and internship programs.
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Strong ability to passively recruit candidates
High sense of urgency, customer-service driven, and team player mentality.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (i.e. Excel, MS Word and Outlook)
Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job description.

Essential Duties:
- Lead talent acquisition strategies and goals aligned with Senior HR Leadership direction for the Niterra US and Canada.
- Develop talent acquisition reporting and departmental KPI’s.
- Lead, coach and mentor, talent acquisition team with a direct report in Wixom and dotted line to West Virginia talent acquisition.
- Actively recruit candidates for open positions across various geographical markets and professional functions.
- Lead the evaluation and development of processes, programs and tools aimed to have a high-performing TA function.
- Determine key metrics, evaluate results for predictive, prescriptive, and diagnostic analytics and prepare/communicate status updates as needed for leadership.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR team to develop recruiting strategies for long/short term hiring goals. Develop requisitions details, ideal candidate profiles, screening and interview questions.
- Manage job postings, sourcing (both active and passive) and screening of candidates. Evaluate candidates to determine suitability for position and communicate with the Hiring Manager and HR team.
- Utilize professional networking, social media, cold-calling, and other methods to proactively source qualified candidates. Develop pools of qualified candidates in advance of need (as appropriate).
- Manage candidate contact during recruitment process. Assist HR team with interviews, as needed.
- Manage Applicant Tracking System, including improvements to system set-up and processes. Maintain data accuracy in ATS.
- Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives. Develop relationships with colleges and universities in local areas.
- Research and recommend unconventional approaches for filling talent gaps, targeting and leveraging untapped prospective candidate pools.
- Serve as an ambassador to further expand our strong employer brand and recruiting presence in the community.
- Manage the online presence and company brand to promote Niterra as a great place to work to attract top talent. Work with other departments to improve and/or enhance the brand as necessary.
- Manage the process, ensuring a great candidate experience from the first contact to final offer and closing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and leverages leading talent acquisition practices and trends.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and maintain a solid understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Assist HR team with training for hiring managers on proper and effective recruiting and interviewing techniques.
- Develop relationships and manage activity with temporary agencies
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and all company policies relating to IATF16949 and ISO14000.
