Our organization is currently in search of a full-time Psychiatrist for the Salisbury VA Medical Center. Position Highlights:

  • Standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • On-call coverage from home, averaging 10-12 days per year.
  • Optional weekend inpatient coverage available for additional compensation.

Requirements:

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Possess a full, unrestricted medical license in any state.
  • Hold a Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited medical or osteopathic program.
  • Completed residency training approved by the Secretary of Veteran Affairs in a recognized core specialty program, qualifying for board certification.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required; non-citizens may only be considered if qualified citizens cannot be recruited, per VA Policy.
  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership and supervisory experience is necessary.
