Job DescriptionGardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill a Senior Executive Assistant position. This is a full-time position based out of Gardner's corporate office located in downtown San Jose, California .The Sr. Executive Assistant is directly responsible to the Gardner Health Services (GHS) CEO and Board of Directors as support staff in the overall day-to-day operations of the administration office and Board activities. The Sr. Executive Assistant acts as the central figure of the administration office and it responsible for receiving and addressing inquiries for the CEO from other GHS senior managers, private parties, community members, as well as local, state and federal agencies. Paramount to this position is the ability to access and navigate the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Electronic Handbook (EHBs) online activities, transactions, grant application, Change In Scope and other processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications of this position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered,
- Graduation from High School required. College degree (BA or BS) preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience as an assistant to a corporate officer, or similarly responsible position.
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English and Spanish.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with the HRSA electronic grants administration system, Electronic Handbook (EHBs) highly desirable.
- Ability to take dictation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to edit and proofread. Knowledge of grammar and spelling. Attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner to government and legislators’ representatives and officials.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and private data.
- Proven ability to organize, use good judgment, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to perform tasks independently with a high degree of accuracy.
- Some event planning experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of the health sector, philanthropy and nonprofit community desirable

Compensation:
Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.
Senior Executive Assistant: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00/Annually
