A healthcare facility in Guyton, GA, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a Stepdown unit position on a contract basis. This role requires a skilled nurse who thrives in a fast-paced hospital setting and is mitted to providing high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting with similar size and acuity.
- Successful pletion of at least one travel nursing contract.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit, monitoring their condition and responding promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Educate patients and families regarding health management and post-discharge care.
