Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Toccoa, GA, for a leave contract from February 7, 2025, through May 13, 2026. This role provides in-person therapy services for a caseload of 55 elementary students. While the position is primarily in person, virtual therapy options are also considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive school-based speech-language pathology services to students.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy sessions to meet student needs and goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and progress reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Georgia SLP Licensure (must be submitted with application).
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to deliver services in person and via virtual platforms as needed.
Location:This position is based at an elementary school located in Toccoa, Georgia.
Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time position, up to 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration from February 7, 2025, through May 13, 2026.
