Are you an electrician looking for a long-term home with a top-tier construction firm in Pittsburgh? We are currently seeking reliable Commercial Electricians for Temporary and Temp-to-Hire, full-time positions in the Greater Pittsburgh Region. This is a unique opportunity to show off your positive attitude and electrical skillset in order to transition into a permanent role with our customers.
Role Details
- Status: Temporary and Temp-to-Hire (Opportunity to transition to permanent role after 6 months)
- Location: Various Commercial project sites across the Greater Pittsburgh area
- Pay Rate: $20-$30 per hour, depending on field experience
- Schedule: Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week) with potential for overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial electrical systems, including lighting, power circuits, and control apparatus
- Rough-in and trim-out wiring, conduit, and panels for new construction and renovation projects
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure precise execution
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to the updated National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Pittsburgh building standards
Qualifications
- Experience: Any electrical trade school or construction field experience
Requirements
- Reliable Transportation to local job sites
- Must have own hand tools and proper PPE (hardhat, safety glasses, work gloves),
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working from heights
