Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our team, with three positions available on the 2nd shift and one on the 3rd shift. Depending on current operational needs, new hires will begin in either the sheet metal bay or the bar bay. The role involves a combination of classroom and hands-on training, focusing on safety, core values, and certification processes. Material Handlers will be responsible for order selection, maneuvering materials, loading trucks, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
Responsibilities
- Engage in 2-3 weeks of classroom training followed by 3-4 weeks of hands-on training.
- Obtain certification in forklift and overhead crane operations.
- Select orders using high reach/side loader forklifts and sit-down forklifts.
- Sort and band materials once picked and operate the overhead crane as needed.
- Load trucks and maneuver materials within the facility.
- Lift up to 55 lbs independently; use team lift or forklift for heavier items.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
