Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join a high-volume, Level 1 Trauma facility. This role is part of the float pool, primarily supporting the Emergency Department and managing boarded patients, with the flexibility to float to other acute care units as needed.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide direct patient care in a busy Emergency Department setting</li>
<li>Manage boarder patients in the ED, including:
<ul>
<li>Medical/Surgical</li>
<li>Stepdown</li>
<li>ICU-level patients</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Deliver high-quality nursing care using critical thinking and rapid assessment skills</li>
<li>Float to acute care units when required</li>
<li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a similar-sized Level 1 Trauma facility</li>
<li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) license</li>
<li>Required Certifications:
<ul>
<li>BLS</li>
<li>ACLS</li>
<li>TNCC</li>
</ul>
