Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and reporting process for the organization, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing tax risks and enhancing the company's tax position while providing strategic advice to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to provide insights on various tax issues affecting the organization.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors during tax audits and reviews.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the organization.
- Prepare and present reports on tax-related activities to senior management.
- Provide guidance and support to junior tax staff and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate tax reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or corporate tax accounting.
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
