Job DescriptionNow Hiring: 2nd/3rd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor – CNC Production
Location: Franklin, Indiana
Salary Range: $25.00-$30.00 Hourly + $2.00 Shift differential
Shift: 2nd/3rd Shift
Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our CNC production team on 2nd and/or 3rd shift. As a frontline supervisor, you will ensure your team meets safety, quality, production, and cost goals while maintaining high morale and promoting continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader to drive results in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and coordinate the shift team to achieve production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Review shift production records and metrics to ensure goals are met and recommend scheduling or sequencing adjustments.
  • Reduce or eliminate scrap and ensure finished products meet quality standards and industry specifications.
  • Support team initiatives and foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist in creating and monitoring performance objectives, programs, and KPIs.
  • Manage shift scheduling, attendance, and workforce planning.
  • Promote safety, housekeeping, and compliance with all plant rules and OSHA standards.
  • Oversee CNC machinery and production equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining quality and production goals.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a manufacturing supervisor, production supervisor, or team lead in a CNC or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining, production processes, and quality control standards.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a 2nd/3rd shift team.
  • Hands-on experience with production scheduling, process improvement, and operational KPIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial safety practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
