Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, skilled in managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping practices. You will play a key role in supporting payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes while maintaining seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, including Premier and Assisted Payroll systems.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Monitor loan payments and ensure they are processed accurately and on time.
• Conduct month-end reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and up to date.
• Address invoice or billing inquiries by collaborating with relevant departments.
• Manage general ledger entries for different business segments within the organization.
• Ensure seamless integration of financial data from external systems into QuickBooks.
• Provide executive-level assistance with financial reporting and documentation.
• Support payroll functions for a small team of 8-10 employees as needed.• Proven experience in bookkeeping with a strong understanding of financial processes.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including Premier and Assisted Payroll.
• Solid knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures.
• Expertise in performing bank reconciliations and month-end closings.
• Ability to manage general ledger entries and maintain organized financial records.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for addressing billing and invoice concerns.
• Familiarity with payroll processes for small teams is preferred.
