We are ecstatic to be growing our Salthouse Smiles family! We currently have openings for full-time and part-time positions in Des Peres and Wildwood, MO! Duties
- Assist in providing quality dental care to patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (panos/bitewings/CBCT)
- Assist with dental procedures including but not limited to: root canals, pulpotomies, crowns, extractions and resins.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update patient charts in software
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk as needed
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety
- Understand patient's insurance and submit dental claims

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and oral health procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with patients

Job Type: Full-time, Part-Time

Expected hours: 32-40 hours per week

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Dental assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) (Preferred)
• Nitrous Oxide (Preferred)
