Food & Nutrition Associate - Full Time
Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO that focuses on personalized care. Requirements:
What to expect as a Food & Nutrition Associate:
- Position is entry-level duties, which includes washing dishes, pots and pans, clean work areas, equipment, floors and other duties as assigned.
- Food prep, serving, and delivery for patients, cafeteria and catering. Run cash register.
- Stock kitchen, cafeteria and patient areas. Put away deliveries of food and supplies using FIFO rotation.
- Provide excellent customer service, promote teamwork with great communication (both orally and written).
- Multi-task in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
- Learn and follow policies and procedures to meet department standards.
- Practice safe food handling.
- Perform heavy physical work throughout shift.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Commercial Food Service experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills for education.
- Ability to obtain Food Handler certificate after hired is required.
