- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)\n
- Hours: 36 hours/week\n
- Shift: Four 9-hour shifts (Monday through Friday as assigned), totaling 36 hours/week\n
- Call: 1 day per week and every 4th weekend (must stay within 30 minutes of hospital during call)\n
- Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology (2 labs, 12–15 cases/day)\n

\n\nJob Requirements\n

- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience (2–3 years preferred); prior travel experience preferred\n
- ARRT certification and registration required (R)(ARRT)\n
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required (must obtain prior to direct patient care)\n
- Experience with neuro procedures, run-off, and angiogram highly preferred\n
- Associate’s degree from an ARRT-accredited institute preferred\n
- Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) preferred\n
- Familiarity with angiography imaging systems (fluoroscopy, DSA), PACS, and hospital information systems\n
- Must be flexible, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care\n
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Assist physicians during a wide range of interventional and neuro-interventional procedures (biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations, angiograms, cerebral angiograms, coiling, carotid stenting, and more)\n
- Operate angiography/fluoroscopy equipment; select appropriate imaging settings to optimize diagnostic quality and minimize radiation exposure\n
- Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure per regulations and facility policy\n
- Obtain and verify patient clinical history and lab work; ensure complete and accurate documentation\n
- Assess patient risk for allergic reactions to contrast media and assist in initial treatment when needed\n
- Adhere to radiation safety standards, perform procedural timeouts, and follow infection control protocols\n
- Use PACS and other hospital systems proficiently for image storage and retrieval\n
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and families; support patient comfort and safety throughout procedures\n
- Educate and mentor students and other healthcare providers; maintain inventory and notify appropriate personnel when supplies are needed\n
- May be required to remain beyond scheduled shift if procedures are ongoing\n
