Operations Manager
Location:Dyersville, IA | On-Site
Our client's expanding manufacturing company is looking for anOperations Manager to join their leadership team. You will be in charge of providing inspired leadership around the operations of the business functions, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
The Operations Manager responsibilities include tracking business results, performing cost-benefit analyses and monitoring production KPIs. You will also be assisting the Human Resources department with recruiting, when necessary, and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance. To be a successful in this role, you should have experience in the same or similar role, managing all business operations and financials. You should also demonstrate great leadership skills and be able to communicate the vision of the company across all levels.
To be considered, candidates will have prior experience in a management or leadership position. A solid understanding of financial management is a must.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure all systems operate smoothly and align with our quality standards.
- Establish production KPIs and conduct quality assessments.
- Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise.
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor financial data and recommend solutions that will improve profitability.
- Coordinate with the HR department to ensure our hiring plans meet our business needs and assist with recruiting when necessary.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale by providing inspired leadership for the organization.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
- Work with senior stakeholders to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
- Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
- Support worker communication with the management team.
Operations Manager Requirements:
- Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
- Solid understanding of operations and financial management.
- The ability to understand and interpret financial data and allocate budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
