Job Description

Role Summary

You turn casino marketing goals into guest-loved gifting programs. Equal parts creative merchandiser and disciplined closer, you read the room, find the angle, and deliver programs that work on paper and on the floor. You are assertive with a sense of urgency, take responsibility, and follow through relentlessly. You thrive on building trust, telling a story with product, and navigating complex approvals without losing the thread.

Who will love this role: Ambitious, solutions-oriented sellers who are resilient, detail-accurate, and influential; who operate with integrity, respect, and honor; who understand people and situations quickly; and who enjoy creating win-win programs that drive loyalty and revenue.

What You’ll Do

  • Negotiate pricing/terms to protect margin while advancing long-term relationships.

Proactive Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new properties; expand within assigned accounts.
  • Lead discoveries to read property priorities, calendars, and constraints; position yourself as a trusted advisor - not just a vendor.
  • Represent the company at showroom/property meetings, events, and tradeshows.

Account Management & Retention

  • Own continuity calendars 12–24 months out; keep clients stocked with fresh options.
  • Provide crisp recaps, next steps, and proactive updates after each touchpoint.
  • Resolve issues (supply, quality, timelines) with calm, solutions-first professionalism.

Financial, Operational & Logistics Coordination

  • Partner with Logistics/Product Development/Finance to ensure accurate specs, packaging, and delivery.
  • Monitor inventory, tariffs, and lead times; communicate risks and alternatives early.
  • Track returns/credits and post-program learnings to improve the next pitch.

Market Awareness & CRM Discipline

  • Maintain working knowledge of casino promotional cycles and industry trends.
  • Keep CRM (HubSpot/Passport/ezGIFT) accurate: contacts, notes, continuity calendars, forecasts, and pipeline.

Must Have Competencies (strongly emphasized)

  • Accepts Responsibility & Strong Follow-through - owns outcomes end-to-end.
  • Reads the Situation & People Quickly - flexes style; knows when to push/pause.
  • Ambitious, Driven, and Assertive - operates with a sense of urgency; resists stalls/objections with skill and poise.
  • Sound Decision-making - balances risk, margin, timing, and relationship.
  • Detail Orientation - pristine specs, pricing, quantities, packaging, and dates.
  • Adaptability & Continuous Improvement - learns fast; iterates based on data.
  • Resilience & Multitasking - sustains energy across long cycles and moving parts.
  • Influence & Business/Sales Acumen - frames value, handles objections, and closes.
  • Integrity, Respect, and Honor - trusted internally and by clients.

Experience & Background

  • Preferred: Casino/hospitality marketing, player development, or promotional merchandise sales (continuity/VIP programs).
  • B2B Sales Relationships: Long cycle, multistakeholder deals; executive level trust building; RFP/procurement navigation.
  • Merchandising/Product Savvy: Cookware, luggage, fashion, tech, branded merchandise; packaging and perceived value intuition.
  • Logistics Awareness: Importing/tariffs, warehousing, fulfillment, shipping windows.
  • Tools: strong presentation tools: HubSpot (or similar CRM), Passport/ezGIFT, G-Suite/MS Office.

Success Looks Like (high level)

  • Trusted relationships at priority properties; proactive pipeline coverage.
  • Multiple continuity/VIP programs closed, measurable revenue contribution.
