Position: Nurse Manager RN – Behavioral Health

Location: Aventura, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | No Weekends
Pay Rate: $38.52 – $55.26 per hour (Based on Experience)
Bonus: Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance (Case-by-Case)

Position Overview:
A large acute care hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health to oversee operations of a 53-bed inpatient behavioral health unit. This role manages clinical staff, ensures quality patient care, and supports regulatory compliance while maintaining efficient 24/7 unit operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily unit operations including scheduling, hiring, and staff performance.

• Supervise a multidisciplinary team of RNs, Behavioral Health Technicians, and clinical staff.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and satisfaction initiatives.

• Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN License (or compact license).

• BSN required.

• BLS & ACLS within 30 days of hire.

• CPI certification within 90 days.

• 3+ years Behavioral Health nursing experience in an acute care hospital.

• 3+ years leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Coordinator, or Assistant Nurse Manager).

• Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
