About Our Facility

Position Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing services by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will create a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients and their families. This role involves acting as a key liaison between patients, their families, healthcare providers, and other team members. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining professional competence and developing others.
- Upholding confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
- Supporting Shared Governance through participation in councils or sponsored activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Patient Care and Coordination: Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist in care planning, and take appropriate actions to enhance patient outcomes. Deliver care as outlined, using independent judgment when necessary. Collaborate with staff to communicate care plans effectively and ensure optimal patient flow and experience.
- Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction: Address patient concerns promptly and thoroughly, serving as an educational resource for health-related issues. Communicate essential information to families and care providers, prioritizing patient-centered care to enhance satisfaction for patients, families, staff, and physicians.
- Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing the work environment and processes. Contribute ideas for solutions and support the implementation of changes aimed at improving patient quality outcomes, satisfaction, and organizational performance.
- Professional Competency and Growth: Maintain required licenses and certifications, complete necessary training, and actively seek development opportunities. Stay updated with research and best practices in the industry.
- Professional Leadership: Mentor and support the development of fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment. Adhere to confidentiality and professional standards, demonstrating integrity and accountability in practice.
Qualifications
- Education: An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: All certifications must be obtained upon hire unless specified otherwise. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, along with either a Single State Registered Nurse license or a Multi-state Compact RN license.
