Job Opportunity – Radiation Therapist – Lubbock, TX 79410\n
Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas
\n
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. No on-call required. No weekends required. Patient ratio: 20 patients to 1 Radiation Therapist. Daily census of 40-45 patients.

- Work at a 181-bed Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with a robust radiation oncology program
- Rotate among multiple advanced treatment modalities including brachytherapy, EBRT, SBRT, SRS, and FSRT on Gamma Knife
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including Elekta Linear Accelerators (Infinity and VersaHD), Gamma Knife ICON, HDR Flexitron, and GE Discovery CT/Simulator
- Join a collaborative team of 7 full-time Radiation Therapists in a great team environment with excellent providers
- Work with both adult and pediatric patient populations in a teaching hospital setting

Requirements:\n
- \n
- Valid Texas state license (compact license accepted)
- ARRT-R (Radiation Therapy) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Experience with external beam therapy, IMRT, CT simulation, electron beam therapy, and radiation safety protocols
- Proficiency with Elekta equipment, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and chart checking procedures
- Experience with adult and pediatric outpatient populations preferred
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Clean background check required
