Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time school psychologist position is available with a contract through the end of the school year, with strong potential for renewal. This role supports students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade, in a school setting located in Dexter, ME. The position requires an active state school psychologist license and offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning and well-being.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active State School Psychologist License required
- Experience working with K-12th grade students, including elementary, middle (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12)
- Ability to conduct assessments, provide counseling, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with educators and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological evaluations and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer direct counseling and behavioral interventions to students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
