We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team in Artesia, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and previous experience in a Bank Teller/CSR position. Bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Persian, or Spanish is a big PLUS. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing financial transactions accurately, and assisting customers with their banking needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with their banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries in both English and the designated bilingual language.
Educate customers on bank products, services, and promotions to help meet their financial needs.
Process check cashing, money orders, wire transfers, and other financial services with accuracy.
Handle and resolve customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain compliance with banking regulations, policies, and security procedures.
Balance cash drawer daily and ensure accuracy in transactions.
Assist customers in opening new accounts and updating existing accounts.
Support branch sales goals by referring customers to appropriate banking services.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
Fluency in English and a Plus if able to speak any of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Persian, or Spanish.
Previous cash-handling and customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic computer and math skills.
Knowledge of banking products and services is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.
