Position Overview: The Photo Editor plays a key role in ensuring KaTom’s product images meet the highest standards for clarity, accuracy, and quality. You will work with large volumes of photos daily, using tools like Photoshop and Lightroom to enhance and prepare images for our website and online marketplaces. This role supports our ecommerce success by ensuring every product is represented professionally and consistently.
What You’ll Do:
- Review, correct, resize, and enhance product images using programs like Photoshop and Lightroom
- Ensure all images meet established sizing, quality, and branding standards
- Evaluate manufacturer and industry photo files to determine necessary edits
- Manage and organize image assets using files repositories such as Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google Photos
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Vendor Relations Team to secure required photography
- Prepare images that meet criteria for Google Shopping and other online marketplaces
- Leverage AI-assisted editing features to support high-volume image production and ensure consistent results
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across large volumes of images each day
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a media-related field preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other photo-editing software
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively and work effectively with high file volumes
- Experience with file-sharing tools (Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Photos)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted photo editing tools and generative features (e.g., Adobe Photoshop Generative Fill, AI upscaling, background removal)
- Ability to incorporate AI workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and image quality
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow established guidelines and maintain consistency
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help wherever needed
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, daytime shift
- Full-time, on-site position located in Kodak, TN
