About the Role
Our firm is partnering with a large, well-established enterprise retailer to support its Owned Brand Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technology team. This role plays a key part in helping internal teams successfully adopt and use PLM tools that support product design, development, collaboration, and cost management across a broad portfolio of consumer brands.
The Product Support & Customer Success Specialist will serve as a primary resource for day-to-day user support, education, and communication. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working cross-functionally, and translating complex system capabilities into clear, actionable guidance for a wide range of users. In this role, you will support ongoing PLM operations while contributing to a consistent, high-quality user experience across the platform. You will partner closely with Product Managers and Customer Success stakeholders to ensure users understand system updates, receive timely support, and have access to effective training and documentation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Act as the first point of contact for PLM users by answering questions, providing guidance, and supporting issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success team members to ensure consistent support and communication.
- Partner with Product Managers to test enhancements, communicate upcoming changes, and gather user feedback.
- Create, update, and manage user-facing materials such as release notes, training decks, videos, and written communications.
- Support the planning and delivery of user training sessions and onboarding resources.
- Collect, organize, and synthesize user feedback to inform Product teams.
- Help establish clarity and consistency in how users access PLM support, documentation, and updates.
- Monitor user engagement and system adoption, identifying opportunities to improve training, communication, and support processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 13 years of experience in product management or product marketing or 24 years of experience in customer support, customer success, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting software applications or digital platforms.
- Experience creating, maintaining, or delivering training materials and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in retail, consumer products, or large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Exposure to Apparel & Accessories, Home & Hardlines, or Essentials & Beauty product and packaging development.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams in design, product development, or sourcing environments.
