We are partnering with a wonderful school district in Washington County, RI to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

In this role, you'll provide play-based, developmentally appropriate speech and language services to early childhood-aged students. You'll collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students reach their full potential academically and socially through individualized interventions and support.

Position Details:

• Location: Washington County, RI
• Schedule: 5 days per week, full-time hours
• Grade Level: Early Childhood, ages 3-5
• Start Date: January 2026
• End Date: June 2026

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool and early childhood students.
• Support development of expressive and receptive language, articulation, and early social communication skills.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations using developmentally appropriate assessment tools.
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs aligned with early childhood goals.
• Monitor student progress and complete required documentation in compliance with special education guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, early childhood support staff, and families to support consistent communication development across settings.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license and Department of Education certification in the state of Rhode Island.
• Previous school-based experience, particularly with early childhood-aged students, preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
