About the Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide direct patient care, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the physical therapist.
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, home care techniques, and safety precautions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health care regulations.
