Location & coverage

Remote, customer-facing role working primarily inside hospitals. To support customers in the assigned territory, you must be based in Oregon.

What you’ll do

  • Diagnose issues and perform repairs and preventive maintenance on STERIS and competitor medical equipment.
  • Own your schedule to meet customer needs: PMs, service and warranty calls, installations, and field upgrades.
  • Leverage advanced digital tools to complete regulatory compliance tasks and thoroughly document work.
  • Communicate findings, offer repair options and pricing, and coordinate with Sales to identify service opportunities.
  • Travel to different sites in your territory according to service agreements and demand.

What you bring

  • High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of work experience, including 2+ years in a technical/mechanical role; associate degree, technical certifications, competitive equipment training, or related military experience may count toward the technical requirement.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet required background and physical assessments for vendor credentialing.
  • Customer-facing experience and team collaboration skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Basic computer literacy (Windows, email, navigation, mobile apps, and multi-system data entry).
  • Schedule flexibility, including potential overnights and early/late hours.

Backgrounds that translate well

HVAC, mechanics, maintenance, refrigeration, boilers/chillers, equipment repair, diesel/automotive, aviation, plumbing, electrical.
