Role Scope & Key Responsibilities
This hybrid Financial Analyst role supports FP& A for R& D operations, focusing on:
- OpEx and CapEx planning for various research projects
- Partnering with division leads and project managers to review and refine budgets
- Conducting monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis
- Supporting forecast accuracy conversations with internal stakeholders
- Preparing monthly financial reports and insights for budget owners
- Managing contractor and headcount-related accruals
- Contributing to the month-end close process
- Maintaining and improving Adaptive Planning (Workday Planning) models and structures
- Leading testing, feature rollout, and data validation within Adaptive
- Supporting integrations with other Workday modules
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4–5 years of FP& A experience
- Strong proficiency with Adaptive Planning (fluency required)
- Experience with Workday (nice to have; used for POs, requisitions, etc.)
- Background in larger or structured corporate environments preferred
- Financial Analyst ready to stretch into senior responsibilities
- Skilled at relationship-building with internal stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, R& D-driven environment
