Position Details:

Requirements:
All applicants must meet Pennsylvania state and local certification and licensure requirements for Special Education. Candidates must also comply with all background check and fingerprinting standards required by the state.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with special education students and their families

• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance

• Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Strong skills in differentiated instruction and behavioral management

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students

• Provide direct instruction in inclusive or resource settings based on student needs

• Modify instructional content and strategies to align with each student's learning goals

• Track student progress and maintain clear, accurate records and documentation

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents

• Ensure compliance with IDEA and all relevant state and federal special education regulations
