Pay & Incentives

  • Hourly Rate: $38.79 – $56.74 (based on experience)

  • Sign-On Bonus: $25,000

  • Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)

  • On-Call Pay: $4.50/hour

  • Shift Differentials:

    • Evenings: $2.75/hour

    • Nights: $4.65/hour

    • Weekends: $2.50/hour

  • Certification Pay:

    • Additional $2.00/hour for approved specialty certifications beyond role requirements

Job Description

Overview

A leading acute care cardiovascular program in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to support a high-acuity interventional environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of cardiac, vascular, and endovascular procedures within a collaborative, fast-paced clinical setting. Ideal candidates are clinically confident, adaptable under pressure, and committed to delivering exceptional procedural care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care during invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures

  • Support cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, electrophysiology procedures, interventional radiology, neuro-interventions, endovascular cases, and structural heart procedures

  • Prepare patients pre-procedure, including transport, site preparation, and sterile setup

  • Monitor patients intra-procedure and manage sedation, hemodynamics, and emergent situations

  • Perform post-procedure care, including sheath removal, hemostasis, and patient transfer

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, coordinated patient care

  • Participate in orientation and support of new team members as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

  • Eligibility for Alaska RN licensure

  • Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience OR 5 years in a high-acuity setting (ICU or equivalent)

  • Experience circulating, monitoring, and administering sedation (including sedation drips)

  • BLS and ACLS certification

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Experience with structural heart procedures (e.g., TAVR, LAAC)
