Operated by the Wish You Were Here Group, this new destination combines elevated food and drinks with beachside energy and DJ-driven ambiance.
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced, upbeat, and guest-focused Bartender to join our front-of-house team. As a bartender, you’ll craft high-quality cocktails and deliver warm, professional hospitality that enhances the rooftop experience from day to night.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with efficiency and accuracy
- Create a welcoming and lively environment for guests through warm, attentive service
- Offer recommendations, take orders, and guide guests through the drink menu
- Maintain a clean, fully stocked, and organized bar throughout service
- Ensure all drink prep aligns with recipes, specs, and presentation standards
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process payments
- Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and managers to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all safety standards and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned
- Stay informed on daily specials, events, and key menu details
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or lounge
- Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Current Alcohol Awareness Certification and valid Food Handler Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Ability to stay calm and focused during high-volume service
- Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
