Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to provide comprehensive speech and language services in a K-12 school setting. This onsite contract role involves working primarily at the main location with some responsibilities at additional sites including Twinfield and out-of-district placements in the Barre/Berlin area.
Location: Saint Johnsbury, VT (with travel to nearby locations)
Duration: Contract for the 2025-2026 school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across grade levels K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in team meetings and continue professional development
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible or completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working in school-based speech-language pathology settings preferred
- Strong skills in pediatric speech and language therapy
- Ability to service diverse student populations in various educational environments
Compensation:
- $45-$55 per hour based on experience and credentials
