Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Reports To: Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist / Clinical Director

Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement treatment plans, support students speech-language goals, and contribute to data collection and documentation across various settings including the clinic, daycare/school/ABA visits, and school campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to pediatric clients as outlined in treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Implement therapy activities across settings (clinic, ABA/daycare/school visits, school campuses)
- Monitor and document student/client progress and performance
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities
- Support carryover of speech-language skills through collaboration with caregivers, teachers, and school staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and participate in staff meetings and supervision
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and state licensing standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- Active and current SLPA license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational or clinical settings
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable transportation to travel between clinic and school/daycare sites
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English or other language) is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with IEPs and school-based documentation is a plus
- Familiarity with AAC vocabulary systems
- SOAP note documentation familiarity is a plus
