Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This on-site position allows you to support students’ communication development while working in a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license (required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations is helpful
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities are preferred, though not required
- Ready to travel between two district campuses as assigned
- Able to complete district-specific onboarding forms and credentialing steps following an offer
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students as directed by supervising SLPs
- Support students in grades 6-12, with a caseload split between two campuses (approximately 70 students at the high school, 40 at the middle school)
- Serve monolingual caseloads; bilingual students are assigned only to bilingual clinicians
- Only required to see students every other week or less in some cases, making for a balanced workload
- Document student progress and maintain up-to-date session notes in compliance with school district standards
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
