Overview

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cash application tasks, including reviewing remittances and accurately posting payments
  • Reconcile payment details and research discrepancies to ensure accuracy
  • Work with large datasets while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Support departmental workflow changes and contribute to evolving process improvements
  • Assist with report pulling, cash balancing, and general AR support functions
  • Participate in validations, quality checks, and testing efforts related to workflow enhancements
  • Prepare and organize data needed for upcoming process improvements or automation initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain timeliness and accuracy across tasks
  • Adapt to shifting priorities as the department continues refining its structure
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality within a structured office environment
  • This role does not involve collections or customer contact

Qualifications

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or transactional accounting roles
  • Proficiency with Excel functions such as pivot tables and lookups
  • Strong accuracy working with numerical or data-heavy responsibilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve through payment discrepancies
  • Professional, team-oriented communication style
  • Comfort working in a structured environment with evolving processes
