Your Daily Tasks & Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapy Assistant:
- Turn therapy into magic by meeting kids exactly where they are—then walking with them toward who they’re meant to be.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions with a focus on measurable progress and goal attainment.
- Adapt and refine treatment activities to meet each child’s unique developmental and sensory profile.
- Serve as a critical feedback loop to supervising OTs, identifying what’s working and where to pivot.
- Mentor interns and therapy aides, helping shape the next generation of pediatric therapists.
- Engage in continuous learning to integrate the latest techniques into daily practice.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
- Certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as a. Occupational Therapy Assistant as required in the state of Kentucky.
- Ability to develop creative and engaging therapy activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
