Supervisor of Nursing – CICU
This is a full-time position that will work night shifts.
The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is a 27-bed cardiac and medical critical care unit. It specializes in pre- and post-operative cardiac care, cardiomyopathy patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, heart failure and post-MI cardiology patients, IABP, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA, pacemakers, severe sepsis, and respiratory failure.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the nurse manager, director, or executive director, the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor provides an optimal environment and assists in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel to ensure high-quality patient care. Plans, organizes, controls, and coordinates departmental activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective service. Adheres to the ANA Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire)
- One professional certification in a related area (upon hire)
- Two years of recent clinical experience in the specialty area
- Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Leadership experience

Pay Range: $67.93 - $107.26
Additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
