Job Description

Manages an entire scope of a small project or scope of work (i.e., guest rooms, graphics, FF&A, restaurant, retail etc.) which is self contained and definable, within financial parameters and to the high quality standards of WDI and DPEP

\n


\n

• Assists with informational flow and tracking (Submittals, RFI's, QA / QC)

\n

• Makes recommendations for product and people conflict resolution and problem solving on project within their scope

\n

• Assists in finalizing budget

\n

• Plays an active role in preparing professional bid packages

\n

• Manages relationships with Owner / Operator

\n

• Assists field team with daily issue resolution with other team members: Ride, Show, Entertainment, etc.

\n

• Assists with Assistant Construction Management tasks

\n

• Coordinates with multiple internal WDI and DPEP departments and external entities (including include Project Management,

\n

Estimating, Scheduling, Ride Engineering, vendors and contractors)

\n

• Assists with Punch / Completion Lists

\n

• Permit tracking (COA website for DLR / Accela program for WDW)

\n

• Manages construction site badging and site aerial photos

\n

• Provides administrative assistance to field team

\n

• Helps fill timeslot voids in the field (ie. cover superintendents)

\n

• Implements WDI CM Studio "90 Day Expert Program" for QA/QC and Safety responsibilities and processes, as described in the

\n

California CM ToolBOX

\n

• Becomes familiar with WDI CM Duties, as defined in the CM ToolBOX

\n

Construction Management is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities through installation on a project or multiple projects.

\n

Monitors safety, quality, and schedule in the field, while providing technical expertise and ensuring work in place meets quality requirements of

\n

contract documents, applicable codes, and Disney standards. Coordinates and interfaces with all WDI Studios, DLR / WDW Operations and Security, contractors, vendors,

\n

and governmental agencies. Construction Management is the primary responsible Studio for everything that happens on WDI construction projects,

\n
