Pharmacist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $53.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacist Highlights

• The required availability for this position is:
  • Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (local time)
  • Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (local time)
  • Training hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT
• Start Type: Class with set start date
• This is a fully remote position
• This is not a patient-facing role

Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Review patient profile, drug interactions, sensitivities, and usage
• Determine if prescriptions require physician clarification
• Enter prescriptions into system
• Handle incoming prescription-related patient calls
• Assist in doctor phone calls and therapeutic interventions
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with controlled substance policies
• Final dispensing check for accuracy/dosage
• Resolve orders in the EA (External Adjudication) queue

Pharmacist Requirements

• Prior experience with prior authorization (PA) reviews or clinical case review in a high-volume or production setting
• Commercial or specialty pharmacy experience preferred
• Demonstrated documentation of meeting service level agreements (SLAs) or production targets
• Proficiency in multitasking across platforms and clinical tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
• Comfortable using multiple systems simultaneously
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Experience with phone-based interactions with providers and patients
• Must explain any large employment gaps on resume
• Must provide your own high-speed internet
• • Minimum: 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload
  • Include speed test results and internet provider information from speedtest.net
• Smartphone required (VPN token download)
• Must have a private, secure, dedicated workspace
• Must be willing to appear on camera for training and meetings
• Stable living situation required
• Must follow Teleworker Privacy Practices
• Must protect confidential information and equipment at all times
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. required
• Active pharmacist license in state of residence (must be in good standing)

Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial or specialty pharmacy experience
