Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a leave coverage position at a K-12 school in Allentown, PA. This contract role is scheduled for the current semester, focusing primarily on an elementary caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to approximately 56 elementary students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in meetings and communicate regularly with parents and school personnel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and effective therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain detailed documentation efficiently.
Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania
Work Schedule: Full-time hours, leave coverage for the current semester
