Continuous Improvement & Training Lead

Description:
The Continuous Improvement and Training Lead will be responsible for supporting the development and facilitation of our DC training and education initiatives, including but not limited to the design and implementation of programs and projects employed to improve employee experience and development across Logistics functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead training and employee development initiatives aimed to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and engagement, ensuring that initiatives align with Arhaus and overall Logistic goals.
- Supports classroom training for both New Hire orientation and Safety Training, partnering with the Continuous Improvement and Training Manager and Director of Safety to execute a best-in-class Onboarding and Safety Program.
- Supports the development of a DC Wide Mentorship program aimed at fostering and developing talent across all DC departments and buildings.
- Supports the role out and integration of Arhaus Logistics Vision, Values, and Belief program across all Logistics functions as well as ongoing engagement exercises
- Supports the continued development and execution of our DC Onboarding Initiatives, leading orientation presentations, tours, and other first day experiences for new hires within the DC arena.
- Support the Arhaus Continuous Improvement Team global initiatives (when applicable) that enforce Arhaus culture and policies toward continuous improvement, customer service and fiscal initiatives.
Requirements:
- Leadership, problem solving, people skills, and cross-functional team experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in progressive leadership experience within a DC or logistics operation
- Experience developing training, education, and/or people development and leadership projects as well as print and digital content to support initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve with minimal supervision while determining appropriate resources and information to use
- Ability to interact with individuals at all professional levels as well as non-exempt associates
- Excellent training, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to plan and manage effectively
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Experience with Canva design tools and understanding of branding and brand continuity a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP
