DAY TO DAY AS AN EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR

The Executive Administrator role at Greenville Federal Credit Union is a dynamic position that provides crucial administrative support to our Board of Directors, CEO, Volunteer Committees, and senior leadership. You will be responsible for preparing strategic business plan materials, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence, while also taking minutes and assisting with email maintenance. A key part of your responsibilities will include compiling data, preparing agendas, and developing presentation materials for senior management meetings. You will also handle the preparation of minutes and tracking action items from Board and Volunteer Committee sessions.

Partnering with marketing staff, you will contribute to the annual report and annual meeting preparations while composing verbal reports for the Nominating Committee chair. Other vital tasks include managing travel arrangements, tracking approved expenses, and maintaining effective communication channels across the organization to ensure seamless collaboration among senior managers.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR

To excel as an Executive Administrator at Greenville Federal Credit Union, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or at least five years of relevant executive administrative assistant experience, ideally within the financial sector. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Strong administrative skills are essential, including the ability to compose business letters, lengthy reports, and minutes accurately, while compiling materials in a structured manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for effective collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Candidates should demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, enabling them to create professional documents and manage data efficiently. The ability to think creatively, multi-task effectively, and deliver on commitments is crucial. Additionally, flexibility to travel as needed will further enhance your effectiveness in this pivotal role, ensuring seamless support for the organization's leadership and initiatives.

Note: This position may be assigned to work from home based on the needs of the credit union.
