Prestige Wine Imports (PWI) is the exclusive importer to USA for a distinguished and diverse portfolio of high-quality Italian wines sourced from leading appellations including Trentino, Sicily, Veneto, Tuscany and Piedmont.
Position Overview:
· The Market Manager position is responsible for growing sales and awareness of the PWI portfolio in all channels in NYS. This role is expected to inspire, educate and set expectations for distributor partners as well as cultivate & support key accounts within NYS. This role will be focused on the Metro New York Sales area as defined by the distributor but it will also require periodic sales visits to the NY Upstate market which would require travel and some overnight stays. The role requires, at minimum, 80% of the focus to be devoted to 'in field' sales and will also require some work in the evenings in accounts supporting our business and building relationships within the trade.
Responsibilities:
- Improve distribution, velocity and volume (depletions) in targeted account roster focused on both independent & off premise customers.
- Provide PWI portfolio training and education for distributor sales team and targeted customers.
- Collaborate with distributor personnel to achieve sales goals and the successful execution of PWI programming within territory.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on supporting activities to Region or State Manager.
- Construct unique and engaging portfolio presentations and sales tools that embrace PWI company standards, programs and initiatives.
- Create, prioritize and preplan territory run of accounts.
- Optimizing promotional budgets and brand investments.
Performance Measures:
· Distribution and Volume (depletions), Operating Expense budget
· Execution of national customer and distributor program goals
· Annual distribution targets in on-premise and retail channels
· Strong 360 feedback (distributors, accounts, cross-functional partners, team members)
Requirements:
Experience
· 3+ Years Beverage/Alcohol Field Sales experience in the New York Market preferred.
· Wine Education Credentials Such as CSW / WSET a plus.

Compensation details: 80000-115000 Yearly Salary
