A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care, working the night shift. This role involves providing direct patient care to medical patients in a 60-bed unit, emphasizing comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions in accordance with professional standards and state regulations.

This position is based in Saint Peters, Missouri, at a well-established medical center known for its commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (preferred)
- Strong teamwork, dependability, and flexibility
Schedule/Hours:
- Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours weekly (to be specified upon application)
- Weekend shifts as required (approximately every other weekend)
- Orientation on days prior to night shift start
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Utilize nursing processes to assess and respond to patient needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
- Use electronic medical records (EPIC) and specialized equipment
- Adapt to physical demands including patient handling and mobility assistance
