Operations Manager – Lead with Impact in a High-Growth, Mission-Driven Company

Are you a seasoned operations professional who thrives on building strong teams, solving problems, and driving results? We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Operations Manager to help lead our growing team and bring our mission to life every single day.

In this pivotal role, you’ll report directly to the Business Manager and President/Owner and oversee our field operations team, including Project Managers, Journeymen, and Apprentices. Your leadership will be key to ensuring projects run smoothly, schedules are on point, and every team member is supported, empowered, and set up to succeed.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee and mentor Project Managers, Journeymen, and Apprentices, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Ensure all jobs are scheduled at least two weeks out using Field Edge and reviewed daily for progress and potential roadblocks.
Visit job sites regularly to reinforce operational standards, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction goals.
Partner with the Shop Manager and team to maintain accuracy in inventory tracking via Sortly.
Review and approve project proposals before final sign-off by the President.
Monitor billing processes to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Collaborate with HR to support team well-being and resolve personnel issues when needed.
Promote ongoing education and training to keep our team ahead of industry trends.
Serve as a positive and motivating force—both in the field and across the company.

What You Bring:

10–15 years of industry experience, preferably in a leadership or operations role
Master Plumbing License (preferred but not required)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you’re a coach, not just a manager
Knowledge of accounting practices and project billing
Proven experience in bidding, quoting, and managing operational costs
Team-building experience with a focus on mentorship and professional development
